| Mr Whiteley and Ms Judy Holdstock (Senior Vascular Technologist at The Whiteley Clinic) have now modified the original VNUS procedure making it the procedure of choice for: - the first time treatment of varicose veins, - for recurrent varicose veins, - some complicated forms of venous conditions. |
Mr Whiteley was invited to present the world results of VNUS closure in Arizona in February 2000, at the biggest meeting for endovascular techniques in the world, and again in 2001 and in 2003. He has also presented his results at many other meetings both National and International.

Mr Whiteley has also been an invited speaker in the European Phlebology meeting in Rome in September 2001. He was also been invited to be a guest speaker presenting his own results at the Association of Surgeons of GB & I in Cardiff in April 2000 and was invited to present the VNUS technique at the Birmingham Vascular and Endovascular Course in January 2001. |
He has been invited to present his work in Pisa in November 2002 and is the Guest Lecturer at the AGM of the Society of Vascular Technologists in Belfast in November 2002.
In 2003 Mr Whiteley presented his 4 year results at the UIP World Congress in San Diego and and at the European Society of Vascular Surgery meeting in Dublin. |
